Amazonica habitation
watercolor/color pencils/gouache, 300mm x 300mm.
Illustration for one of three entrance-frames along the path to the new (04-2013) 'Amazonica' butterflydome in Rotterdam Zoo.
This one depicts the 'other' animals besides the butterflies and some flora of South America in the dome.
The illustration is used on a cut-out panel (1200mm x 1200mm) fitted in a 3 meter high frame.
